Testimonials:

"It is impossible to overstate Elias Lammam’s patience, good humor, and dedication to teaching. Over the years that I have studied with Elias Lammam, my ears have found new ways of hearing, my heart has found unexpected pathways toward cross-cultural understanding, and my soul has grown with a love and appreciation of the complex and beautiful music of the Arab world. I am blessed to be studying with a true master." Mark J Bradlyn

"I was thrilled to hear that Elias was teaching group [classes in] Arabic singing. . . . I leaped at the opportunity to study with this master musician. I was so pleased with his attention to details in pronunciation, intonation and the story behind the words, as well as sometimes the composers' story. If you're at all interested in learning any aspect of Arabic music, don't miss the opportunity to call on Elias Lammam. Although he can be funny & charming, he's tough, so you'll have to do your homework to keep up." Mike Fair

"Elias Lammam's music classes have given me a clear understanding of Arabic music theory and history, far beyond what I've gotten out of any other class or workshop on the subject. He teaches us correct techniques to play our instruments, many maqams and beautiful songs, and sometimes very profound concepts, not only about music, but about life in general." Susan

"Elias's passion for music, and for Arabic music in particular, is contagious. Even though I grew up with Arabic music, Elias helps me discover new dimensions to the music and songs we learn in class. He not only is a great musician and singer, he's also an excellent teacher who makes sure we feel the music with all our senses and not just hear it with our ears. I'm very grateful that we have a such a treasure in our area with whom to study Arabic music and singing." Hala www.HalaDance.com
